Hi there -
I'm a North Charlotte resident, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new grey! Can't wait. I lived in Charlotte years ago when I had my first grey, and I know I took her to a greyhound playground, but I forget where it's located. Anyone know where the playgrounds are in Charlotte?
Also, I know we will be gone for a few days at the end of October. Is there anyone out there in the grey community that can babysit? I hated taking my last grey to kennels when I had to leave town. Of course, I would pay for her comfort!
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! We can't wait to see pics of the new baby.

Rather than re-type everything here take a look at the Charlotte section. There are two locations for playgroup as well as information on vets/kennels that others have used. And the information for monthly dinner is in the Charlotte section. Hopefully you will be able to join us for dinner and tell us how wonderful your greyhound is.

Unfortunately I can't volunteer to babysit we have five of our own. Hopefully someone else will be able to assist.

Hi there -
I think I'm so excited to get my new grey I didn't even notice the Charlotte section!
Our dates are Oct 24 (friday) thru the following Wednesday (29th).
We are assuming she (no name yet!) will be kennel happy, but I said that about my last grey.
I will be sure to post our new member of the family next week - I think we get her next Sunday!
Thanks for your replies!

Welcome! Which dog are you adopting? Sorry I can't help you with any of your other questions.

Hello, I live in North Charlotte and would be willing to dog sit, However, take a look at my signature and you will see I have many an animal... as long as she is ok with smaller dogs (the cat doesn't really socialize with any of us so I don't think she is a threat)...then she is welcome with us.... I haven't told my husband yet, but I sure he will be ok with it Smile Smile Smile...Send me an e-mail and we can talk more if you wish.
