OK, i know these dogs are supposed to sleep a lot but that's all that Odie will do. I have to wake him up to go potty at certain times (because i am trying to get him into a schedule so when i go back to work) and i even have to wake him up to eat... is this totally normal? i don't mind that he is lazy... i just don't want something to be wrong with him.

its very normal. They lay around and store up all that energy and at times you will see them let it all out!!
I wake mine up, they run out to go potty and run back to their beds.
Its hard work being a greyhound. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

when I first brought Beecher home, he lay on his dog bed and never moved. I had just lost a grey and was sure he was sick. I took him to the vet several times the first two weeks. He is and was a lazy greyhound from the beginning. _________________ Linda
