I'm always being asked about flea control. I was looking in Retired Racers for Dummies and it mentions that Adams line of flea procuts are used extensively by the racing kennels.
Does anyone know about this? Any opinions? _________________ Blanche E Fedor

I can honestly say that in the last ten years, none of my Greys have had fleas or have I had any problems with them! _________________ Tara Sue was here

I have used Adams in the past. It was a concern that my dog and my borhter's visiting children not be exposed to unnecessary chemicals. Adams is all natural and it works. I'm not saysing you can ingest it, but it's better than other severe chemicals we could have treated our lawn / dog / house with. Course I was treating a Blk Lab, no where near as sensative as a GH.
Also a tip we used that worked well. 20 mule team borax. Disolve in a bucket of water and mop the floor with it. it is a natural bug repelent, and a great cleaner. I use it on my concrete floors, and no ants, fleas, flies nothing. You can use it in the laundry washer too. Lots of uses. I buy in the laundry section at wal-mart.

Borax is one of the early "natural" cleaners. Everything in is is natural. The insecticide use comes from the boric acid, boron, which can even be ingested. An extreminator I interviewed, even sampled it to demonstrate it's safety.
Adam's seems to be fine with our hounds, and is one of the better working of that category of flea product. ProMeris, a topical like FrontLine, is getting very good reports. It's supposed to be gentler and cheaper than Frontline. _________________ Elizabeth

The same thing happens to Angel... It does go away, but seems to take about a day or two. Just be careful not to touch it. _________________ Gina,

I usually wipe the oily spot with baby wipes after about 2-3 days. _________________ Christina

I use Frontline spray. It stinks and cost a lot. _________________ Linda
