Any advice on the best way to keep water in the crate? It keeps getting knocked over but she just gets so thirsty I hate not giving Laramie some when I leave. Is there something available to hang on the side? |

Here is a pail we use in the plastic crates for the dogs we keep in the lobby. You only need the qt. size. You can hang it by the hook or you can get a two sided clasp (home depot or lowes) and hang it by the handle.

Thanks, Blanche! I will look into getting one- that seems like a great solution. I want to thank you for helping me look at all the greys- Laramie is amazing and has truly been blessing. She is having problems adjusting to me leaving, but is a very loyal friend when I am home! I appreciate all of your help that day. I wish I had more room because I would love to get Laramie a friend! |

Debbie Rater told me about a website from which I ordered flat-backed little metal buckets that hang on the door of the plastic crates or almost anywhere on a wire crate. As I remember, they came in two sizes. I love the ones I ordered but can't remember the address. Is it the same one Blanche gave above? Debbie, can you help? _________________ Carol, huMom to greyhounds Lee, Sally and Bizzy, whippets Dodge, Mandy and Spice, and Itty Bitty Kitty. Helped by husband Darrell and sons Joe and Josh. |

You could also get a water bottle. Like the ones they put in hamster, mouse, etc. cages. They make them large enough for a dog crate. I am looking into those as when Angel stayed at my neighbors house, she really liked the one they had in their dog's crate. _________________ Gina,
