i think i have mentioned it before but if not.... odie loves his crate. he wants to stay in there most of the day and i can't get him to come out. i call him to come into the livingroom and he will come around the corner, look at me, and then go back in the crate. well, he has been doing a little better the last few days and has been following me around the house. he still will not go anywhere NEAR the stairs up to the girls' rooms but he is hanging out in the livingroom with us more now. those hardwood floors are a little tricky... and he has left the scratches to prove it. check out the picks:

Glad to hear things are improving if a bit slowly. Time is the key ingredient to incorporating a new hound. Many of these guys have problems with smooth flooring. It might help him and save your floors if you can put some sort of runner down.

yes, i went to the store yesterday and got some BUT there are still some spots that get him... he is doing better though. he knows what areas to avoid and how to jump from rug to rug... he is so silly!
