The vet just called. She has our foster Fairy on the operating table to be spayed - to find out that our petite and oh-so-cute Fairy is a boy AND a girl!! Shocked Shocked
Foster mom Audrey and I were joking if they'd charge us for both, spaying and neutering? Laughing
Fairy sure is a very special little 'girl'. love

Never a dull moment here.

Laughing Laughing

I have heard of that happening in greyhounds. So when you get her I mean him back from the vet will she I mean he get to wear a flowered collar or a manly geometric collar. And what about that coat color?

Vet said that little Fairy had one extra female part and a couple extra male parts inside her belly. How about that? Confused
Sure looked like a girl to me from the outside.
Bet she will be sore from all that extra 'parts removal' for a while!
Hopefully the spay/neuter won't mess with her personality! Laughing

That's hat I was wondering - is s/he going to wear a red or blue collar? Or yellow or green? Laughing
But to me, little Fairy will always be a girl, she looks petite and feminine, no way she can get by as a male. And as of today, her two male testies that were hiding in her belly have been removed, so she is all girl now! love

As you probably know, extra "parts" occur in other mammals as well as in other dog breeds; at least that was my experience from my work with a vet in CO. Also, usually the male "parts" in the body mean that their contents have no potency due to the greater warmth from being tucked away inside amidst other tissue. Such a waste of good parts!! Sad Glad Fairy is rid of all that! You go, girl! Smile
