Sad Can someone tell me why it has to hurt so much? Aunte Arlene was her racing name and she lived up to that name. She was a real sweet heart. I adopted her from Randy in the fall of 1998 at the age of 3. Today, at age 12 1/2 she is gone. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad She was one special greyhound.

I am so very sorry for Your loss of Aunte Arlene. You had her for a long time so I know You have a lot of memories to draw from, cherish them.
She's running free at the Bridge now and that's not a bad thing.

Gary

there is no way to explain the hurt when one of these wonderful greys leaves us to go to the bridge. it hurts because they love us unconditionally. its not easy. i know how bad the hurt is from losing my digger. just know they are amoung friends at the bridge. there is only time that can really ease the hurt. we love them so much and no matter how much time with us its never enough. just know that you are amoung friends here and we are all here for you. i so sorry for your loss my thoughts are with you.

What a beautiful sweet face in the picture. She looks very happy stretched out on the bed. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with your loss. They leave such a big hole in our heart when they go. Hopefully you will be able to fill that hole soon with lots of good memories.

Hugs to you!

Thank You all so very much for your heart warmed thoughts and kindness. Even though Arlene was my second greyhound, it hurts as though she were my first. She was a wanderful, wanderful greyhound who gave me years and years of love and companionship. It feels like I lost my best friend. I know she is free of pain and suffering now and she is able to run with all so many other greys that are at the bridge but it doesnt make it any easier as many of you know. Again, thank you all so very much.

Linda
First-second-it's never easy-they just get into your heart and soul.
Aunte Arlene is running with many friends and the sweet senior foster dogs that you have also taken in and lost.
The hurt will eventually lessen and the memories will remain.
Run free on your new angel wings sweet Arlene.

I am so sorry for your loss.It is never easy when our beloved pets go to the Bridge. We know God is taking care of her now,but just remember,
she still loves you and will always love you.She would only want you to
mourn for a short time and then remember the happy times you all
shared together. And when the time is right she can only hope and pray
that you will bring another greyhound into your home and heart. She knows how badly they all need a good loving home.
We have a senior grey ourself...Blue Moon.So we know that one day we
will have to say goodbye tp her.She has brought such love and joy to
our home and to our 2 other greys. She is definitely the Diva here!
My prayers will be that your heart will heal soon and that happy thoughts will replace the sad ones.
Sandy

I am sorry to hear about Aunt Arlene. Sad It sounds like she was a great dog. The hardest thing about having pets is that they just aren't with us long enough.
