My friends dog got out today. She is a golden lab mix, and her name is Ellie. She was a stray that was rescued here in Charlotte, and she has only been home for about two weeks. She is very small maybe 40 pounds and very skinny due to malnourishment. She was last seen at the Camden Pinehurst apartments on Providence Road near Fairview. If anyone sees her, please let me know. If you send a private message with your phone number, i can call you. She was being dog sat so her owners are out of town and won't get the phone call if you call the number on the tag.

she is, unfortunately the information has not yet been transfered to her new adoptive parents. She's only been home for a little over a week... She was a stray who became a shelter dog, so i think her micorchip refrences the shelter...

Which shelter- because when she isfound if she is run through the chip system the shelter would be called and they can go through their paperwork and can see who she was adopted to.
I just checked the cmpd animal control web site to see if was there and she was not.

yes, between them and me we have plastered the area with flyers, called the shelter she was at among the others. The ad went in the paper and on craigs list today. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
