Hello All. Our pet therapy group welcomes greys as well as other medium or large breeds that are calm, well behaved and mature. Pet therapy certification is NOT required. We visit three facilities a month. There is no requirement for attendance. Some of us attend on a regular basis; others come when they are available. Our dogs go room-to-room visiting residents and trying to brighten their day. Visits last about an hour. My dogs love doing pet therapy. They think it is all about them riding in the car and getting petted for an hour.

Hey All. Barbara Votik has been doing pet therapy with the Southwest Charlotte GFNC group for a few months. She is starting a new pet therapy group that targets the University, Huntersville and West Charlotte areas. Barbara’s group will have all types of big dogs, including greyhounds.
