The pics are from the Hambletons in Solomon, just outside of Abilene, Kansas.
They are planning on building a barn for their retirees waiting for adoption. They also take some of the broods home as pets until they come in season again. Nice folks, wonderful hounds!
Abilene has a greyhound farm every 1/2 mile. We also visited the Rider farm, but I didn't take pics. That one was also spotless and a nice setup. I got to hold a lurcher puppy, cross of Wolfhound and greyhound, sooo cute!
The Ward farm is pretty big and is located next to the NGA track. The Flying Eagles Kennels is right off the road and you can see the long dog runs and the brood house. Spotless. Although, some farms we saw along the road didn't look as clean, but the ones we visited were very well maintained. _________________ Christina
