Autumn Unleashed - Fall Open House Festival is on Saturday October 27th. Come to the kennel and enjoy meeting all the dogs.

There will be vendors, Bake Sale, the Hound Cafe and lots more. Bring your greyhound so he can participate in the Hound Dash. And show your creativity in the BYOP-Bring Your Own Pumpkin decorating contest. And don't forget to buy your ticket for the Raffle. The prize is a $500 Visa Gift Card. Imagine how many greyhound toys you can buy with $500!!!

Hi Everyone
I'm sure we have all been reading the lovely poems, looking at pictures of Dash, and hearing of all the things he has been doing since Karl took him home.
During our open houses we have a blessing of the dogs-greys or whatever dogs are brought up to enjoy the festivities.
Karl's Mother Barbara is giving the blessing. She called to tell me that Dash is doing great while he is in the Netherlands visiting his wife. She made a special request to me. Barbara would like a list of the GFNC hounds-I'm sure she doesn't care where else they came from-so that she can do a rememberance of the hounds that passed this year.
If you would like your hound included in the blessing rememberance, please give us his/her name and we will get a list together for her.
Barbara has 3 hounds and that's where Karl got his love of them.

Speaking of Open House, don't forget to bring lots of dollar bills. We will have games to play and prizes to win.

And the Pet Therapy group will have lots of wonderful bake sale items. I think I gain a pound or two every year. But hey, its for the dogs. (Yeah thats it. I am eating chocolate chip cookies....for the dogs.)
