I'm posting to re-introduce Gracie. Not my own Gracie, but the Gracie listed on the Adoptable Hounds page.
I think Gracie (currently being called Rhonda - her original name) is an overlooked little gem.
She has been re-homed twice, neither time really her fault. I picked her up both times she was returned. She was so very sad then but she is transformed now.
She's still a bit shy, petite, lost a toe and half her tail, enjoys a comfy couch.
She should live in a home with another greyhound because I think she really enjoys their company. Currently she is fostering with Alice in Calabash NC and 3 other greys.
She has been very patient with my big annoying jealous mutt Pudge.
She is not cat safe, nor small dog safe and no young children.
I am dogsitting Gracie while her foster folks are on vacation. I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to see how happy Gracie is now. Because of the love given to her by her foster parents, Gracie finally understands what living in a happy home means and that she can finally relax and enjoy life.
If you you're looking for a calm, sweet girl deserving of a forever home, Gracie's your gal.
