Greyhound rules of the house
(from the greyhounds point of view)



1. if it hits the floor I must chase it and or taste it.( I also reserve the right to capture said item and take to my area for further examination)
2. my snout does belong on the counter or anywhere else it can reach
3. I may relieve pressure when im feeling gassy at anytime (this includes while in the car, and while you have guest)
4. when laying down on my pillow I will make as many circles as it takes (I don’t know why I do it either but I just have to)
5. when not getting the required attention I deserve I will sing until I do. (even if the only words to my song are all the same rooo roooo rooo rooo )
6. when sleeping in the bed I can and will take as much room as I can. (also refer back to rule number 3)
7. after eating I will come and thank you with a kiss (the burp in your face is my complimenting the chef)
8. while watching tv if its not the show I want to watch we will go outside and play
9. when outside I must sniff everything and pee even if nothing is coming out(hey its just what we do ok)
10. also while outside when unsuspecting bunnies or anything small and moving approach I will give chase(hey these are real so I am defiantly going after them)
11. as a matter of fact, I do own the house
12. the couch is mine regardless of who wants to be there guest or not
13. the middle of the floor is mine not matter what you are doing
14. let’s remind everyone of rule number 12 again.
15. when its time for me to eat, well then its time I eat!
16. I don’t care how early it is go back and read rules number 11 and 15
17. if it is paper I must and will eat or shred it at my discretion (important papers, receipts and important business cards do take my priority)
18. while not sleeping in the bed I reserve the right to take your comforter when I need it. (if your cold you should have let me up there)
19. when going into my kennel (I go because I want to not because you said to) I will get a treat, (if not catch me if you can)
20. when you follow my rules I will give you unconditional love and attention

That is a great summary! I really like number 2. Ha!

Going back and reading that made me think-my daughter is always saying No noses on the table. I keep telling her Sport doesn't know what that means, but she insists on saying it any way.
