my parents dog (she was mine when i lived there) went to the bridge yesterday. jessie was a sweet girl, she was an akita-elkhound mix. i found her at a gas station years and years ago and it took a couple of times before we actually got to get near her. when we did, she took us across a field, across the street, and down the road where we found puppies. the people who owned her gave her and the pups over to us within a week and we cleaned them all up, removed fleas and ticks and were able to get homes for everyone...except jessie. finally, jessie found a home and almost a year later, the people called and wanted to get rid of her. my parents had recently lost their cocker and i convinced them to adopt jessie. boy, was she stubborn! she loved andy!!!!! i will miss this girl, but i know she is free from pain, and has been met by lots of new friends. i love ya jess!

Jessie was lucky she found you guys at that gas station. And once again when her second family decided to not keep her. She was loved by you guys and will be waiting at the bridge.
