Justice had his chest tubes taken out today and will be coming home tomorrow. I am so excited. I miss him so much!
He had one lobe removed from the left lung and one lobe removed from the right lung. Dogs have 7 lobes in all. I wonder if he will be able to run again?

Justice has had hard a rough time since he came home Friday. He will not lie down or rest. He is exhausted and has fallen a few times because he is so tired he falls asleep standing up. He has developed some fluid accumulation around his chest below where his chest tube was. It looks to be about 700-800mls. I have given him pain medication but he still will not lie down and sleep. I am not able to reach the Vet. today being Sunday. His gums are pink and he is eating and peeing...
He needs a special touch from his creator. Please pray for him. Thanks.

We took Justice back to the Vet. today. He said not to worry about the accumulation of fluid. He did xrays and they look good. He thinks he is having reactions to the pain medication. He is on Previcox and Tramadol. We took him off all of that stuff. He has already improved greatly. He is finally resting at intervals. I did not realize that the pain meds could cause agitation, restlessness, panting, dysphoria, and hallucinations. No wonder the poor guy could not sleep. So Justice is doing better. Thank you all for your encouragement, kind words, and prayers.
