Does anyone else have hounds that burp??? I have heard all 3 of mine burp!At first I couldn't figure it out,then the more I heard it,the more I knew it was a burp!!It's just too funny.They are the only dogs I have ever heard do this.

Maggie burps. Our wolfhound, Gizmo was a GREAT burper. She would stop eating and come into the living room just to share a burp with us. Then she would smile and go back to eating.

Of all the greyhounds that have past through I can't remember any of them burping. But whooaa that gas Greyhound Gas

digger always did and now dash does as well, i will say the burps are no where near as bad as that other thing there famous for. but both are kinda funny.

I'm happy to know that my hounds are not the only ones that burp! I have had lots of animals in my lifetime,but until now,I have never heard one burp.
You're right...I'd rather have a burping dog than a "gassy"dog.Whew...it's bad! I always thought it was Gary blaming it on the dogs!!! Guess I was wrong!!

My Penny is a burper i think because she inhales her food, i dont even think she chews. I always tell her there is more no need to inhale it. Precious on the other hand seems to be the gassy one Razz

ewwwww! She alawys seems to be laying on the couch with the butt facing me too! When she gets up there i say NO NO NO mommy doesnt want the butt! Hers are quiet cant say that for penny at least you hear hers and know to run to the other room! Laughing

Nubie waits until you are loving on him, and then if to say "thanks" he burps in your face!! The girls are rather polite about their burping!!
