Heres what I do:
I have a ice tray that makes about 1 inch cubes.

1 quart of plain yogart
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp honey
1 banana (optional) some dogs dont like the banana

Mix well in a blender

pour in ice tray and freeze.

I put a small piece of jerky in the bottom of each cube before I pour the mixture in. This keeps my kids from eating the dog treats !

After they are frozen, I take the treats out of the trays and put them in zip lock bags. Takes up less room in the freezer.

Debbie's recipe sounds yummy I can see why she puts the jerky in there to keep the kids away. When we make them here we use yogart and pumpkin, half of each and put them in little Dixie cups to freeze.

Maddie loves frosty paws- she had 2 (she is a little piggy or should I say BIG piggy) at Mountain Hounds as another dog did not want to fnish theirs.

Also pedigree has come out with ice cream sandwiches for dogs as well. Maddie loves those as well- Maddie loves almost anything you give her (except carrots)

We had our Meet and Greet last Saturday at Earthfare in Greensboro-they are sponsoring us for the month of September and they had ice cream for adults and Frosty Paws for the dogs. Most of the other of dogs wouldn't even lick them, but the greyhounds ate theirs and everyone elses. Some dogs had to have theirs cut up and just bolted the pieces down. I thought about brain freeze also. d'oh!
I wonder how they'll like the wine tasting later on in the month. celebrate
Just kidding, but we made the most money on that night of the sponsorship.

sounds very interesting, i guess i never really paid much attention to what frosty paws was. i will have to try some for dash. would be a nice cool treat after his yard laps he does each night. i usually give him ice cubes, he loves them. but this will be a change.

I found some new Ice trays at target for frosty paws.
I usually use the small 1inch square cube trays but these are the new Rubber kind and they have a hexagon shape. They are 1 dollar each at Target in the dollar bins at the front door. They had lost of then in lost of colors.

hey look we made frosty paws. since the big guy made such a mess in the kitchen while he was making them, i thought it was ok if i dribbled all over the floor. had to move that mat i usually eat on out of the way, no need for that to get dirty. they sure are good.
