I adopted Carly a year ago today! She's still a shy girl, but she has come a very long way. It's been very rewarding watching her gain confidence over the past year and I know she will continue to do so. She is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known. And she has an adorable crooked smile when she's excited that will just melt your heart!
She won me over with her shy, submissive grin a year ago today and I love my Carlyque more than ever! I hope this is just the first of many, many more Gotcha Day celebrations.
I'm still trying to get a picture of my camera shy girl smiling, but in the meantime, here's one I love -- eyes all big and ears flattened down. I think she looks just like a meerkat!
