I have set up two meet and Greet dates for the Kannapolis Intimidators
games.
Thursday May 3rd and Saturday June 30th.
WE had a lot of fun doing this last year. Even got one or two adopted from the event.
We need no more than 10 dogs due to limited space. You will get into the game free. We set up a meet and greet at the enterence and enjoy the game and good food.
Also, we will have tickets for sale for these 2 games. The tickets are 4 dollars each and 2 dollars from each ticket goes to GFNC.
I know its far in advance but keep these dates open if you want to attend. Its so much fun.

Our baby is due on May 19th so that is a bit close for Sarah to be standing around. I would say that more than likely we would be able to help out on the June date though. Hopefully by then Mocha and Ginger will be much more receptive and a little less timid. |

Some people were asking me about the baseball games. May 3rd and June 30th.
We need about 10 dogs for each of these events. We will also have tickets for sale for these events that we will profit from.
IF you can't bring your dog you can come out and eat some hot dogs !!!

OK, We are on for the ball game.
I can only have 10 dogs. Thursday May 3rd. Game starts at 7pm
If you are bringing your dog, try to be there around 5:30 or 6 if possable.
You will get in free for helping out.
If you just want to come to the game, I believe Rick and Linda still have tickets to sale. they are 4 dollars each. 1/2 of the sale goes to GFNC.
I need to know what dogs are coming. I have Holly and Monday, 2 Narvaro hounds, Rick, will you be bringing a hound or 2? I will bring only 1 foster dog.
Leah, will you be bringing Peatie?
Directions:
85 north to Exit 63. Go left at the top of the exit (I believe that is Lane ST
Pass over 85 and on the Right you will see the Stadium sign
Follow the drive up to parking. We will be set up right in the front. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Ballou, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron aka Captain Morgan

I would love to bring Trooper to this Thursday's game. I would need to buy three other tickets as well; how do I do that? Do I need to bring a chair or anything else? This will be my first meet and greet here--I did some in Massachusetts--and definitely my first at a baseball game!--do I need to bring anything else? _________________ Karen

Glad to have you join us Karen.
You dont do much sitting at this thing.
We are usually mingling with the croud.
We are not allowed in the food area or in the stadium steating with the dogs but will be walking around most of the time.
We have a table set up for donations etc...
Lots of fun.
So just bring Trooper and some potty bags for clean up.
Get with Rick or Linda who have the tickets to sale.
I need all money and tickets by Tuesday. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Ballou, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron aka Captain Morgan |

We need more hounds for the baseball game.
LEt me know if you can join us Thursday night for the game.
I will be there at 5:30. People start coming in around 6 and the game starts at 7. You can leave when ever you want after that.
Please think about coming out for a fun evening at the baseball field. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Ballou, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron aka Captain Morgan |

We enjoyed last night at the ballpark, even though the weather wasn't too cooperative. At least we didn't get wet!!
Karen, it was nice to meet you and Trooper and your human family.
Totty and Holly - have you gotten warm yet???
Thanks for getting us all together, Deb. We met some interesting folks! _________________ Carol, huMom to greyhounds Lee, Sally Bizzy, and Glitzy; whippets Dodge, Mandy and Spice, and Itty Bitty Kitty. Helped by husband Darrell and sons Joe and Josh. |

WE had a greyt time. It was cold but no rain. We met several interested people and hopefully they will contact us about adopting.
Donations were low due to it being a thursday night and cold.
We collected around 40 dollars. Not to bad for a few hours in the cold.
Thank you everyone for coming out. Totty, I hope you are warm now and Holly, that beach towel looks fabulous on you.
Karen, Thank you and your mom for coming out.
Carol and Darrel, thank you so much and please thank Joe for keeping Kelly busy for me.
Next game is June 30th. Thats on a Saturday.

Don't understand all this talk about it being cold...was fine for me! (Must still have that Massachusetts blood!)
Had a great time, nothing like a Greyhound wearing boots to get a lot of attention! Had one good prospect--hope she makes it out to the kennel!
It was nice meeting everyone, hope to see you all again soon. _________________ Karen
