Our beloved Zeke has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Even though we believe we will see him again, and we know he is free of pain and with lots of friends, we miss him so much.

Zeke was an elderly (12), gentle, loving, black fella who liked nothing better than to have his ears rubbed. His eyes were cloudy but his smile was big. Especially over the last year, Zeke had become quite uncomfortable with his arthritis and was having increasing problems getting around, but he so loved to run. We'd kept him home from playgroup but relented this weekend. He seemed to want to go, instead of just ignoring us when we were getting ready. He had a wonderful time at playgroup Sunday, running like a pup again and looking so pleased to be there. We are glad he had such a great time.

Run, Zeke, and leap and play. We'll always remember you.

I am so sorry to hear about Zeke! He was always so happy at the M&G. He enjoyed all the attention and I remember that one adoptor who said that they were getting a greyhound because of Zeke. His interaction with them was what convinced them to get one.

I'm so glad that I was able to see Zeke at playgroup sunday and I know that He thanks You for giving Him the chance to run like the wind one last time. I'm deeply saddened by His passing, I'm going to miss that boy.

Zeke was a lucky boy to have such a wonderful home and a wonderful life.
HE loved his family very much.
