So far i haven't found many foods that my girl won't eat. I don't like to feed table scraps but i have experimented a little just to see what her tastes are. Someone told me they know someone with a grey that loves carrots. Well i tried them and the only way she'll eat carrots is if it's smeared with p-nut butter. She likes cherry tomatoes and bananas.

Crazy dog!

I know they exist, but I've never had a dog of any breed that was a picky eater. Mine generally love vegetables and will eat most of them raw. Dogs can't really digest raw vegetables unless they're ground up, but they don't care.

My bridge boy, Keno, loved salad! He would eat plain iceburg lettuce like it was something really special. That sweet, silly boy. I always think of him begging for lettuce every time I make a salad.

Gotta love 'em!

Jasmine will eat anything except salad greens. She will take them and carry them to her bed but then spit them out. Anything else, look out. Leo and Toby also will eat anything. Maggie on the other hand....but then again she isn't a greyhound.

Mine get lots of people food. If we have crab legs they know if they are patient they will get some when we finish. Popcorn is a real treat. Even our cat likes popcorn. We mix stuff in with their Canidae kibble. Chicken, yogart, hotdogs and we hide their pills in the cat food. I just made them some dog food today using slow cooker chicken, brown rice, peas and carrots. It is the recipe from the Celebrating Greys magazine. They love it!

Meanwhile, what are we having for dinner? Frozen pizza. Sigh.....

My GreenBean loves carrots!! She'll push me out of the way to get into the fridge and get her carrot. Here eyes get real big when I hand her one, it's so cute!

I think they fall into one of two categories, the ones that eat anything!! and the pickier ones.
Dexter is the picky one, he likes most veggies except raw carrots, but he really likes stinky things like garlic!!! A few years ago the garbage men dropped a whole clove of garlic on the road in the summer, after a few weeks it was pretty rank but Dexie loved it! I could barely get him to go past it for a walk!!!
Cheewa, Joy, Willy and Smooty would eat ANYTHING!!! I mean any kind of weird food or veggie or fruit.
