Welcome home, Smokey! And great to hear that all went well at the vet's!

I agree that Smokey will adapt in no time ---animals do so much better than us humans in that area for sure!! Very Happy

I look forward to hearing about his progress as the weeks go on! Looking forward to seeing everyone Sat. night!

I'm so glad he's home and has his vet visit behind him. Let the spoiling begin!

It has started believe me. He has new toys, new treats, tag for his new collar (once we decide on collar or harness) and a new bed. Oh and he has a riding crop too. Shocked We saw it at Lebos and are using it to give us a longer reach to guide him in the right direction. By holding it against his side or his chest he is learning to turn or stop. Sometimes with all the other dogs we couldn't reach him and this gives us a longer stretch.
He also has a new bed. Here he is sleeping in the typical Greyhound position....head on floor. I promise the bed is big enough for him.

Um, how is Toby handling the fact that the new guy has a new bed? We know how Toby is about beds. Laughing

I know it's a question that everyone has. The answer is YES, blind greyhounds DO COUNTER SURF. Smokey went into the kitchen this morning, his bionic nose in the air and decided to help himself to the cat food we were preparing to take to Gerty's room.

Well knowing how Toby is about beds......we bought him a new bed too. But being Toby he doesn't want his bed he wants the bed in the corner. Silly boy. Rolling Eyes (He is even jealous of the crate!)

And when Smokey goes into his crate for beddybye Leo is moving right in on his bed. So now we have to buy Leo a new bed.

The old green eyed monster can surely get expensive! But back to the beds, that looks like a nice one in the photo. Where'd you get it?
