My friend Marco had to put his Suzy down last night, she was 9 1/2 y/o and had osteo in her shoulder. She was diagnosed two weeks ago.
Since she also had another bad leg from an old racing injury, amputation was out of the question.
Yesterday her leg was very swollen, bruised and very painful, Marco knew it was time... Sad

I was there when he picked Suzy out at the GFNC kennel 6 years ago.
I dogsat Suzy a lot, she was like my own dog... Sad

Run free, sweet Suzy girl, my Bullet will show you the way!

So Sorry to hear about the loss of Marco.Please tell your friend how sorry we all are.I know how hard it must be,and how lonesome it is without Marco around.We all know when "that certain time"comes,and we have to make the decision for our "loving friends".Sometimes we try to keep them around just a little bit longer,and we tend to do this for us and not for them.He made the very best decision he could.Run wild and free sweet Marco,over that "Rainbow Bridge".

I made a HUGE mistake!!! I am so sorry.Tell your friend how sorry we are for the loss of Susie.That is what you get when you work 3rd shift and you get on the computer when you are SLEEPY!! Once again,please accept my appology for that error.........

No problem, Sandy. I am glad my buddy Marco is still around! Very Happy

Marco may adopt another greyhound in the future.

I do hope Marco opens his home to another greyhound someday and I am so s0rry for his loss. It is so hard to let them go.
