Hi everyone! We are new to the Wonderful World of Greyhounds. We are looking to adopt in the next few months, hopefully. My first question: Is the Kannapolis M&G a good place to socialize with the Greys or are they mainly there to run and socialize with each other? Either way we hope to come see them in their element soon! Is there any other place close by to just hang out with the Greys? We would love to just be around them and enjoy their company.

Welcome aboard Christy. Glad you made it.

I am sure that a bunch of the Charlotte folks can tell you where to hang out with their hounds.

Also, if you ever feel like a drive on the weekend, you can come visit us at the kennel near Greensboro. From Concord it is about an hour and 15 or 30 drive.

Hello and welcome! The playgroups are for off leash exercise for the dogs while their humans supervise. The Meet & Greets are events typically done to specifically promote the adoption of retired racers and are held all over Meckenburg Co. each weekend. You will be welcome at one or both to meet some greyhounds and talk to the people who love them.
