Do you live in the Greensboro area?

Do you want to help the kennel but dont know how?

Do you have an hourish of time Wednesday or Thursday night?

Would you accept payment in the form of hound kisses and smiles?

Our long time turnout volunteers on Wednesday and Thursday have moved on and we need help!

Turnout begins around 530, the hounds go out in small groups, blankets are changed, hounds go back in. Usually takes about an hour to an hour / half to complete.

Please look deep and if you can help please call Blanche Fedor 707-8530 or email her at

Would any one from Charlotte like to go up with me on February 15 or 22 to do turn out? Thats a Thursday. We would need to leave by 4 to be there at 5:30.

It would be fun. I will even sing to you in the car on the way up !
( no I cant sing, but it would be fun ! )

I think 2 usually handle it. 1 inside checking blankets and rugs and 1 outside watching the dogs. 3-4 would just make it easier to watch and go faster if the blankets are wet or girls dont want to jump.

Email Blanche to make sure it is not covered already..

OKay, Do I just tell you or do I need to let anyone else know we will do turn out that day?
We will be there at 5:30. Do I need to do anything with food and water?
I DOnt think so but just wanted to ask.

As long as Blanche knows, you are covered. Check with her on the questions too. As far as I know.. Food no, water....I don't think so. I have only done night turnout once. I was on Saturday afternoon turnout duty for awhile. There might be a few dogs that get meds and I am not sure about Jenny (she was getting fed I think).

Darn Debbie- I would love to hear you sing in the car Very Happy but I am not able to help. Maddie sings in the car too - it is called the Whining Song- it 's an original Shocked She whines when we stop for a red light, and when the car is in not in motion and if I can't get her out of the car fast enough. I am looking for someone to sign her on so that we can make some pennies.
