Rocky, a brindle 2 y/o TGS foster, ran away from his foster home. He is still wearing his red collar with TGS tag and leash.
Lost in Morrisville, NC, on January 14, near Airport Blvd and NC 54 intersection.
Rocky is shy and may not come up to people.

Please call 919-815-5903 or 919-274-4155.

Thank you!

Any good news about the search for Rocky? Poor baby is probably shivering from fear and cold if he's still lost! Crying or Very sad Wish we could GPS-equip. them. Please give us an update.

Still looking for Rocky... Sad Sad

Good point, I was actually thinking how nice it would be to have GPS systems for my dogs, is it available as dog collars? Wouldn't that be nice?? Don't some hunting folks use that for their dogs?

They do make GPS collars but they are still pretty big and bulky. I imagine the technology will improve soon and they will be able to make GPS enabled collars that fit like a normal collar. Smile

But back on topic, I do hope Rocky is found very soon. :(

Just checking in to see if Rocky had been found. I'm sending out good thoughts for a safe homecoming for this boy.

We had a possible sighting on Watkins Rd, off NC54 near the self storage facility! Smile
A resident told the mailman that he saw a dog like Rocky. We went there to look but didn't find him... Sad

Possible Rocky sighting!
A man saw a lady trying to get a big brown dog, possibly greyhound, in her green Cherokee at 3:30pm Monday afternoon.
Intersection of High House Rd and Davis Drive, near Sears Farm and Lowes grocery store.
There is an abandoned white house and a red barn. Unfortunately, the dog escaped back in the woods.

Please take your greyhounds with you and search for Rocky!
I am on my way out there now!

Thanks,
Christina

The dog someone saw was a big brown mixed hound dog, a foster from another rescue group, not our Rocky. They caught him just when we arrived.
I am glad they got their foster back and will continue to pray that we'll find our Rocky soon.
We are focusing on the Watkins Rd area off NC54 again where someone saw a dog like Rocky.
Sad Sad
