|
|
Since discovering my first greyhound message forum in 1998, I've always included my dogs in my signature line. When I lost my first one (Frostman) I moved his name to the bottom and beside it typed "waiting at Rainbow Bridge" because the bridge story was new to me and such a consolation after the shock of his unexpected death.
Years have passed and I'm still reading and posting to various message forums and keeping that signature line current -- joyfully adding a new addition to the top and tearfully moving their name to the Bridge line when they go. The Bridge line has grown so long in the past year -- Hannah, Irys, & now Keno joining Frostman and Chloe, that sweet senior foster that never left. I believe I'll be reunited with their spirits -- it makes their passing bearable for me. The list of the angels grows longer ... what do you call a group of angels? A group? A flock? I don't suppose it matters, but I believe they wait and they watch and it makes me feel better. _________________ Cynthia, huMom to Carly (Cw Your Charming), Princess (Lofty Princess), & Cruz, the galgo

That makes me feel better too. Gizmo, Pumba, & Miles are playing with Hannah, Irys, Keno, Frosty and Chloe. They didn't all know each other here but they do there and they are running and playing. _________________

Angels is good..... Angels is very good, because they are Angels, both here on earth and at the Bridge.

As my three seniors get more white around the muzzle I say that they are turning into angels. This ain't quite true. They were angels from the start. What a joy to share my life with these magnificant creatures. I am very lucky.

you guys are making me cry...cynthia, what you wrote is beautiful. i know it is hard, but i believe the spirits watch over you and they know how much they were loved while in your presence and they know how much they are missed and still loved in their absence. _________________ holly
