There will be a meeting at the kennel on Dec 13 sponsored by the Pfizer Co and presented by Dr Crawford on a new dental vaccine. It is expected to be a preventive for periodontal disease and hopefully less teeth cleaning.

Randy said we should arrive between 6:30 and 7:00. Pfizer will provide refreshments if you will RSVP to Blanche by Sunday Dec. 10 or Monday Dec. 11 so they know how much to bring.

Poplar Animal Hospital here in Concord mentioned this vaccine to Rick. He said it is being released to the public and is supposed to help with gingivities. I wondered if it is the same vaccine they are using for the HPV virus in females. The same strain for that also causes gingivities (I believe). Not being medical I am not sure.

After the meeting Blanche post what info he gives you all.
