Come on Jackson! Work some magic on that fella and get yourself a new home.

Blanche, how much did your puppy grow while you were gone and has she stopped wiggling since she saw you come home?

Hopefully Jackson will get a home soon! After playgroup a few weeks ago, he tried following my husband and Sahara as they were leaving. Crying or Very sad I'll keep my fingers crossed that this works out!

Hi Everyone
I had a wonderful vacation-it was a little long-I'm not used to taking almost 14 days of vacation-and sight-seeing and souveneir shopping almst every day (like at Myrtle Beach) can wear you out.
Alaska was not cold-it was very nice (60-65). The flowers are out and a lot of the new babies born during the winter and spring were out. Saw baby bears sliding down the snow on the mountains having a ball with their mom, baby Dall sheep climbing the cliffs with their moms, and baby snow owls sitting in their nests watching their mom. Also saw, caribou, moose, bald eagles and grizzlies-one walked right through the rest area we were at and we had to get back in the bus.
The cruise part was greyt-saw whales-actually only got a pic of part of the tail-they jump kind of fast. I think I gained about 8 pounds-wow-what food.
The hardest part of the cruise was being with my sister every day-which caused a lot of stress as many of you that met her at BBH last year would understand-but we made it through.
I missed my furkids and all the greys at the kennel-you all know how much I love the kennel. Izzy grew about 2 feet-that is it seems like she grew 6 inches in the legs-she sure is getting big and seems like all legs now.
Sorry to make this so long, but you asked.
I'm so glad to be back-now I have to download all the almost 500 pictures I took and try to get them in some kind of online picture album-I won't be able to afford to have them all printed. Anyone know a good website to do that? You could send it to me personally.

Jackson went home with Don to Davidson, NC. It is his first greyhound,
he fell in love with Laramie and wanted his own. Thanks to Don for taking him. We hope it will be a successful adoption. So far just a slight touch of "d", but I told him to try pumpkin-it may just be the stress of being moved again.
My trip was greyt-if anyone wants to see my 313 picture album, let me know and I'll send the site to you. Alaska is beautiful. We saw just about every wild animal there is in Denali, plus humpback wales (in the ocean). Guess we were there at the right time.
As I am sure everyone has heard about cruises, the food is fabulous and if you have a boring time on the boat-it is your own fault, because there is more than enough to do. Being the big gambler that I am, I managed to lose about $30 in the censor-I play the big machines-.05 a shot. I'm so glad that Alaska was my first cruise.

I just viewed your entire 300+ snap shot slide show from your Alaskan Cruise. Wow Blanche what a trip! Dancing You have so many spectacular shots!!! I really felt like I was there in so many of them! It’s hard to imagine the vastness that you're actually standing in there. Makes me want to go to Alaska now! That was a trip of a life time! Thumbs up You are very lucky! Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos, probably the closest I’ll ever get to going! Wink

Laughing Yeah, it took so long only because I had to order Paint Shop Pro to edit it. I'd download the "free" version from the internet & that's when my computer crashed Evil or Very Mad , so I sure wasn't going to do that again!
