Ewwww Ewwww Ewww!!! I don't like snakes! You took those pictures?? Shocked
Last week Diesel got a hold of a pretty good size garden snake and I finished it off with the lawn mower (team work).
Sorry, snake, I know you are helpful by eating little bugs and critters, but please not in our yard.

i was going to run but then i saw that there were 2 and i got closer to see that the black snake was eating the green one. i figured since they were "busy", there wasn't a chance they would hurt us so i called my 7 year old over there and we watched them. yuck yuck yuck! snakes scare me to death!!!!

Black snakes are common in this part of the country. They can grow up tp about 6 feet long. They are not dangerous or aggressive towards humans or dogs. If you can stand snakes, it's GOOD to have a black snake living in your yard. They keep the area free of nasty little critters like rats.

A black snake lived in one of my parent's bird houses for years. We would watch him climb the tree to get into the bird house almost daily. He finally got too big for the hole and moved next door to live under the neighbor's porch.

Last week the snake killed a nest of baby birds in my parent's shrubbery. BAD BOY! We found him curled up on the nest. My brother ran him off but the baby birds were already suffocated to death. 30 minutes later all the dead birds were gone. The snake came back and ate them. Oh well, snakes gotta eat too.

Hey, my coworker told me that he has also seen a black snake eat a garden snake! It must be fairly common! Gross...
