Ooh, I've watched the video several times now. It motivates me to do a better job of grooming Butter, she usually looks like a dustmop. Embarassed

Someday I will get another afghan hound, love the breed. Razz

Saturday, Feb 23 is the Educational Match in the Dorton Arena in Raleigh.
I will be there with afghan Lil Butterfly. Very Happy

Bring your dog, he/she does not have to be AKC registered for you to watch and visit.
Come and learn about different breeds. Last year I've seen afghan hounds, greyhounds, salukis (also smooth coated salukis), borzois and pharoah hound. There will also be many other fun and interesting breeds. Breeders and owners are there to answer any questions.

When I used to show dogs...a hundred years ago, the Afghan hounds and the old English Sheepdogs would be on their back on the grooming tables
almost all day before judging. All you could see was a big pile of hair. They sure are striking though when they get to the show ring.

You know that comment you made about "someday getting another Afghan?" It's come true for you now with Lilly. Very Happy

NO, Lilly was only a foster, I moved her to another fosterhome today. Sad

She reminds me of a sheep dog with all her mats. Laughing

I just took Dodge home last weekend, that makes five dogs now. I don't want to end up like those "crazy cat ladies", you know? Laughing
