This is an opportunity to raise funds and promote greyhound adoption. Wal-Mart will match donated funds up to $1000. We need volunteers for the event that can commit to at least a portion of the 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

I think Cash and I can be there from about 1045 or so until 1. But it does depend on one thing. Cash had a sprained/dislocated toe that he has been resting for a few weeks, and Saturday we'll be trying it out at Playgroup. If it gets re-injured, I am not sure he'll be up for standing on it for hours, but I need to see him run, so we have to get to playgroup to test it out. I am going to try to get him to a field this week beforehand to get him running.

So, basically we are iffy, but want to go if he's fine.

Paws crossed that Cash doesn't get hurt again. Hopefully he will be able to make Statesville, drop by if you can.

Any other volunteers. This event will give us good exposure for the greyhounds and some $$$ for them. So if you can come out please do.
