Yes, there are some greyt folks out there who don't mind taking in a 'reject'. Very Happy
Poca went to another check-up today, her foster mom said we almost bumped her off, her glucose went from 600 down to 35! Shocked Guess the insulin is working a bit too well. So we are giving less and see how she does. Getting her regulated on insulin isn't as easy as I thought, amazing how delicate and sensitive the body is to changes. She also gained almost 7 pounds and is looking much better.

She had surgery today at Dr. English's office in Cary.

Poca's mom wrote: The first thing she did when we got home was to walk all around the house and look at things.

I came across this post again about blind Poca who was surrendered to TGS last January, found a wonderful home, had eye surgery and can see again.

Her new owner reported that Poca's favored game is playing ball in the yard!! I am so happy for Poca and her family!! Very Happy yahoo
