On July 3rd a friend saw a loose fawn greyhound at Ritter Park in Cary, off Kildaire Farm Rd in the Lochmere subdivision. The dog came to her car, but since it didn't wear a collar they couldn't catch it and it trotted back in the woods. It appears as if the dog has an injured leg.
The area is wooded, with greenway along creek, golf course and lots of subdivisions, actually a great place to hang out for a dog, and lots of places to hide.
We looked around but didn't see any fliers in the area, no messages on our TGS voicemail either, we are checking fequently.
Just wanted to get the word out if anyone knows of a fawn greyhound that is missing?
