Hi,
Welcome! What part of Kannapolis do you live in?
I live in the Jackson Park area. When you get your
greyhound I wanted to let you know we have a playgroup
for the greyhounds in Kannapolis. For more info you can
reach us at 704-932-9596.

Hello Wannagrey! I have sent your question to one of the kennel volunteers. They will be able to give you info on Auburn. Her picture on the website looks good. Nice shiny black coat. You should get an email from them with info on her.

Hi

I was at the kennel a week ago Sunday and was helping with turnout and I think I remember her- she is a calm girl with a shiny black coat. Loves to be petted

Hi Wannagrey,

She sure does look like a tiny little shiny girl! Her racing name was Abdo Auburn, if you want to look up her pedigree on Greyhound Data.

She is a lovely little girl. Wigwam Wag is Tessie's daddy and Star's grand daddy.

Hi,
We fostered Auburn for 24 hrs a few weeks back. Our dog, Mickey (aka Mike) was having severe SA, and we thought a friend might help. Granted, we only had her for a day, but a few observations. . .

that girl has some energy--she was up on her hind legs at our fence and ready to jump, up on our countertops looking around. Running through our bedroom like it was a racetrack, and howling all night long in her crate (hence the one night stand).

She is very sweet, and walks well on the leash (although has a fair amount of prey drive--squirrels and bunnies were very interesting to her). She was really good wth our male brindle Mickey. They got along fine, and he was sad to see her go. However, we could not deal with all the energy and howling.

So, I'd say be careful with this one. She is sweet but will take some time to calm down.
