Sandy Paws is always a lot of fun for us and we enjoy seeing so many GTers, hanging out with old friends and making new friends. And afterwards, we go to Jacksonville to visit our pre-adopted boy.

The 30 minutes we had with Tippy were honestly the highlight of the trip. He is such a special boy to us! Out of 216 pictures on my camera, I would bet that at least 190 of them were Tippy...but I won't bore you with ALL of them, here are a few of the best!


Of course the first thing he had to do was take a sniff around.



And then he roamed with the group to check out his surroundings



Took a moment to pose for the camera.



And found Mama Cathie for a kiss.



He gets some future Mommy lovings...this was the best part (for me!)



And spends a few quality moments with sister Paisley.



And says hello to Uncle Chris




Takes a few zoomies around, just to stretch his legs


And gets some "see ya later" lovies from future Daddy Bob.

awww, tippy! he is a cutie! i'm glad you got to see him and that you shared with us. any thoughts about when he'll be joining you? he sure is tall...

He is so cute! Can't wait for him to come live here so we can love on him too.

No, we didn't count the spots. His current Mommy (Cathie) says he gets new spots every day so I am sure there are more now!

Bonnie, Tippy is still racing. We have pre-adopted him through the program Follow That Hound. It is run by Cathie and Bill, they pre-adopt their hounds out so that when they finish racing they have a home. It is really great because we get puppy pictures, we get to follow their career and we know SO much about their personalities and lives before they come to live with us.

We don't know when he will come live with us, there are only 3 in his litter still racing. Leah's Bernard is his littermate and he retired last Julyish? Others in his litter raced in Orlando for a little while and then retired. So you never know, but we are ready when he is!

That is such an incredible idea!! I had no idea that program was even out there! How cool to follow him as a puppy and through his career!! Tippy is such an adorable guy --you guys must just be dying with anticipation!!

What a handsome boy! It's so exciting to be able to visit and take all these wonderful pictures. Now it's just wait wait wait for that call to come!

His ear's are the color of Iceman's,,,but do they stand straight up? You have to admit that Iceman has the coolest ears!

He looks like the happiest boy!! I think that speaks volumes for his present parents and the work that they do to get these guys into homes! He also seemed to really like his future mom and dad
