|
|
There is a lady in China Grove who is loosing her home and has no place to go.
She has a 5 pets, 3 dogs and 2 cats. One of the dogs is a greyhound which I am picking up today.
The other 2 dogs and 2 cats will be taken to animal control soon if she cant find homes for them.
If you or anyone you know can take in one of these dogs or cats, please let her know or you can let me know.
This is a Jack Russell, 8 years old and he loves greyhounds
This one is an Aussie mix also around 8 years old
Here are the cats, not sure how old they are, both are fixed and front declawed.
Please, if you can help her, give her a call. She has tried several rescue groups and everyone seems to be full.
Her name is Della and her number is 814 381 8226 China Grove _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

How terribly sad. As if losing her home isn't enough, she has to part with her animals too. I'll ask around and see if anyone I know can help.
One question - do you know the health/vaccination status of any of them? I know I will be asked and it seems cruel to call her with a potential home and then have to rescind the offer because she says they aren't up to date or have heartworm or something. Would be best to know ahead if possible.... _________________ Carol, huMom to greyhounds Lee, Sally and Bizzy, whippets Dodge, Mandy and Spice, and Itty Bitty Kitty. I really dont know much about the other animals but I do know the greyhound is not up to date on shots etc...
I can only assume that the others are not either.
OK, I am off to do this now Its going to be tough for me to leave the others behind but I am sure its nothing compaired to what she is going through.
Wish me luck _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

How sad... The little Jack Russell is mighty cute! You should take him too, they seem to go together and he'll miss his snuggle buddy.
Can't JRT rescue take that little guy? _________________ Christina

I am back home with Beaver. She is such a sweet girl. A little confused right now but she wags her tail so fast you cant hardly see it when you say her name. She is resting in the basement kennel area, she had a meal and is sound asleep. She is 8 years old and CAT SAFE !!
The other animals really need to go somewhere quick. IF anyone knows anyone who knows anyone please call her and help these animals.
I met them all and it was hard leaving them but I have no choice. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

I wish I could take that little JRT, he is so cute. But I have 7 dogs at the house and can't take in another foster! I can't get this little guy out of my mind, hope he doesn't end up in the gas chamber....
Here are a couple of JRT rescues. Does someone have time to contact them and see if they can take this little guy, please?

I gave her both of those groups and Project Halo. Everyone was full or for what ever reason cant take any of them. The JRT is cute. He reminded me of WishBone from the childrens books. He seemed to run the place. I wish I could have taken them all.
She called today one last time to see if I could help her with the others. I just cant. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

Jim and I are so excited about getting the opportunity to get to know Beaver on our trip. The people in Pennsylvania sure had great things to say about her. |

You are the best. This is so nice of you to take Beaver up to PA. She will be back home with people who know her and love her. Not that I havent fallen head over heals for her already. She is the PERFECT greyhound.
We did find one flaw if you want to call it that. As soon as anyone moves in the morning, she starts barking and playing. The more you try to get her to lay down, the more she barks!! Right now its cute but I would have to try to break her of that if she was mine. She is goofy, sweet, polite and has no agressions at all. not for food, while sleeping, in the crate.
Diana and Jim, WARNING, you may fall in love with her between here and PA, try not to look at her !!!. Good luck with that. _________________ Debbie, mom to Reggie, Tim Tam, Chloe Isabeau, Jessie James and Jossie. (2 legged kids Cody and Kelly) Hubby Ron |

Just to let everyone know that we got Beaver to Cumberland, Maryland to her next stop. The greyhound community is far and wide. The people we dropped her off with, Jim and Tina, seemed really nice. They were taking her the last hour to Altoona on Friday. We got the opportunity to meet their three hounds. Beaver was an excellent passenger the entire trip. Hopefully, they will find her forever home for her this time. Everyone that has met Beaver has loved her. |
