dear digger,

i miss you so much big buddy. it will be a year this weekend since you left me and went to the bridge. i hope that you are running and playing and having a very good time. most of all i hope you are pain free. there hasnt been a day that i havent thought of you. i remember all the times we were together, the good times the sad times, all the times we'd play and then lay in the den and watch tv. you made such a comfy pillow as you'd wrap your big paws around my arms and not let me move. i sure do miss you big buddy. there will never be another that will take your place. i thank you for sending me the boys to help me through the rough parts when you had to go. they are taking good care of me but they will never take your place. you would have really liked them. i will never forget you. i wish you were still here with me, but i know i had to let you go to take away your pain. all of your memorys and thoughts and good times are saved away with me, and i share your memory with anyone when i can. i know one day we will be together again and i hope you will remember me when you see me. there will never be another big buddy to me. so when this saturday may 10 comes i will stop and say thanks for all the times we had together. i hope you felt as lucky to have me as i was to have you. i will always miss you big buddy. run fast and run free big buddy you can be pain free and run like the wind. i miss you.

Although we never stop missing their physical presence, their presence in our hearts deepens with each passing day.

I'm sure Digger knows how very much he was loved then and now.

That's a very nice tribute to Digger.
My first greyhound Bullet has been gone for 5 years and I still miss him so much!
