here are the boys enjoying their freedom... notice that stormy is sticking out his tongue. he wants to go back in. he had a bad day today (with going back to the vet and still feeling the effects of being sedated)

Nice fence! You will love it when the weather is bad and you can just open the door and let the boys out. Don't be surprised if they don't want to go if it's raining though. When I ask if anybody wants to go outside, they all get up but if it's raining, Van Gogh turns right around and goes back in...he won't even go out of the door. Sissy! Maybe he's worried that he might melt?

as of right now, the basement opens up to the fence and neither dog will do those stairs yet. our next project is to build stairs off our deck. so for now, i am walking them out the front door, into the gate, and letting them loose. they really enjoyed the freedom today. they were a little confused at first.

They can learn stairs...sometimes it just takes a little time. I hope Stormy is feeling better. Those big feet sure are fragile sometimes.
I've had two that have broken toes, but never had a nail torn off. OUCH!
That hurts just to think of it.
Give both the boys a big hug! Lets hope they both have a happy and Safe summer! Boys can be so goofy sometimes.
