My sweet Angel chowed down on some rawhide (the kind that breaks apart easily) and finished it very quickly. This was on Sunday. Well, Monday the runny poo began, and today it is pure liquid. Could it just be from the rawhide? Or is it possible something went wrong? she has been on a rice diet for one day now, and i just cooked some more.
thanks! _________________ Gina,

Rawhide is full of salt. Could be what caused your girl's diarrhea. Give her plenty of water and bland food for a few days.
Good luck! Karen |

You can also give her Immodium. Give her an adult dose. The book Greyhounds for Dummies said to not feed for 24 hours-that's a long time-I usually say at least 12 hours. Then feed rice. If she still has it tomorrow-that will be 4 days -you should take her to the vet. She can get dehydrated. _________________ Blanche E Fedor

Well, we are going to the vet today! Cross your fingers that Angel just needs some meds. It may just be me, but it seems like ever since i've had dogs, my life almost revolves around dog poop!!!! _________________ Gina,

Went to the vet, and got Angel a Rx and some canned prescription I/D food... I hope that helps!! My hand held carpet cleaner is being used way too much!!! _________________ Gina,
