Hi...I'm am new to the area and was planning on attending the open house on Saturday (tommorrow) however, it has been raining all day and I was not sure if the event was being changed to the rain date of the 28th.
Being new here I don't know anyone to call!! so I thought I would post here with hopes of getting an update. Thanks |

It was nice meeting you and your greys today.
Did your dogs do the radar run?
"Superman" Wally did 31 mph. He blames the cape for slowing him down. |

It was really nice meeting you and Wally too!! He's a BIG handsome boy!! I think 31 mph is very good for a retired hound !
We didn't do the radar run because our senior Jordan who was with us doesn't realize she is 12 and can't keep up with the youngin's and always pulls something when she runs. And the other grey with us Archie, he doesn't run ,just likes to gallop and smile at people
We had a very nice time and met some greyt people and hounds....I feel better now that I had my hound fix!

open house was good, dash and alex both ran a 32, they said dash hit it in about three strides, not bad for a retired boy, he is certainly powerful and strong off the start. not to mention a wonderful sight to see run. alex was as well. _________________ Karl,

So Karl
Is Alex going to be a permanent fixture at your house for you and Dash?
I am fostering Califano right now and I looked out at the sliding glass door at Maddie and him yesterday morning and too bad I did not have the camera as the 2 of them standing there partners in crime- looking all innocent. reminded me of a photo of Dash and Alex that you had posted- It was classic. _________________ Amy

its looking pretty goodright now, they seem to be bonding a bit. as long as nothing changes this week its very very likely that alex has found himself a home and a new friend. we just gotta teach him that he doesnt have to move the blinds on every window, even when i leave one open for him. they are priceless when they are in the door like that. _________________ Karl,

That's great news, Carl! I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is it for Alex! _________________ Cynthia, huMom to Carly (Cw Your Charming), Princess (Lofty Princess), & Cruz, the galgo

He sure is!! And the CUTEST blind hound!! _________________ Christina
