well as dash attemps to adjust to his new home, one thing he has discovered is the ice and the water in the refrigerator door. i kept thinking the water was leaking till i just happened to catch him in the act. he had seen me fill up a glass of water and now he goes up and pushes it with his nose and makes the water come out. i guess he likes this new sorce of nice cold water. on an occasion he will hit the ice but likes the water better.

Now that is one smart hound !!!

That is really funny. Luckily, I don't think Sahara would be smart enough to figure that out.

i had to be out of town for a few days last week, so dash stayed at my parents house with there two greys, i told them about this and dad just laughed and said oh he cant figure that out, well mom called later to tell me dash had found the water on there fridge door as well. dash may be stubborn and hard headed but he's not dumb. only took him a day to find theres.

Do you have any photos of Dash doing this. I wold love to see this. It sounds so cute and it seems like he is settling in ok.

if i can move fast enough when i see him, i will get a picture, but so far i havent been able to get a picture, i will keep tring though.

How funny! My weimaraner, Hannah, used to help herself to ice when she was a pup! Since her nose and paws were so big, she used to get a shot of water with them whether she wanted one or not.

My greyhounds have no interest in the water or icemaker in the door -- but they do come running when that door opens!

Dash, sounds like a great boy. So glad you found each other!
