Coach and Cougar have their first appt. at Poplar Animal Hospital in Concord tomorrow at 8 am. Coach, who will turn 12 in May, will be seen for shaky back legs and a general once over. Cougar who is 10 will be seen for the "corns" on his pawpads and a general once over. He has some other issues such as a slow clotting process so I really want him examined thoroughly.

I spoke to one of the vets there this morning and am very excited about our visit. He seemed very nice and knowledgeable over the phone. I'll let everyone know how it went after the visit.

Thanks for all the recommendations!

Hope it went well. We love Dr Munn and Dr Amat. 2 of my hounds and 2 cats are going in for a visit next week.

A++ for Poplar Animal Hospital

They were great! Dr. Amat met with us for an hour and a half. When we left, the corns had been popped out of Cougar's feet (no bleeding or anethesia) and Coach has a supplemental treat of with all kinds of good stuff in it. Cougs will be receiving the treats as well. They smell like brownies!

He really took the time to give them a good once over and listen to their history and what a history it is. (Cougs has NC State records from 2003).

Thanks for the recommendations. I think we've found our new vet practice.
