Hello everyone!
My name is Gina and I just moved to Charlotte from CT almost a week ago. I am owned by 2 greys; Yahoo and Sadie, a collie mix; Daisey Mae, 3 cats; Thomas, Azriel and Kyra, an African Grey parrot; Messy Larue, Sun Conure; Tyler, 2 Cockatiels; Cosmo and Ariel and 2 finches; Linus and Sally.

I did some volunteer work with my adoption group in CT and am eager to help out as much as I can here in Charlotte once I am settled. My husband has gone back to CT for the closing on our house and will be back down in April. So right now I am just unpacking and finding my way around the area.

I am planning to attend the dinner on Saturday evening to meet everyone in person. Hope to see you there!

Welcome to NC and greyhound friends. It is so good to have another fellow CT'ian here. My parents and brother still live in CT. I decided it was too cold so I after going to school and VA I never went back up north. (only to visit) Hope to see you at some events once you get settled.

I dont think I will be making it to the dinner, it depends on how Bernard is doing tomorrow with his new staples on top of stitches and if my mom is feeling better too.

If not, we will meet eventually now that you are just down the road.

Welcome to Gina and her crew!! I have a "Mae" in the family too. She is a mixed lab/boxer/something named Maggie-Mae. We tell everyone she is a Tibetian Greyhound. When you meet her you will see why. Her head and tail is lab but the middle looks like a greyhound. Laughing

We also have four greyhounds and a geriatric cat who will be 20 in January.

..yes, we are a crazy bunch in case you didn't figure that out!

Another Yankee found her way south...I'm also originally from Upstate NY (Bonnie I didn't know you were..) we moved to Charlotte in 1985 and do not miss the northern winters!
