Hi folks... Two years ago I bought a new Nissan Maxima which I like very much. At the time I only had one greyhound... since then Chandler has crawled up in my home and heart so now I have two. The dogs have been plotting since that day for me to trade the car in and get an SUV.
I was able to rig my car to accomodate both dogs with the help of Cynthia who donated to me a bench that fit in the floor board of the back seat that extended the laying down area. It really worked well and was covered with carpet which makes it nicer for the dog and protects the car. The dogs wore me down and I finally bought them the SUV they wanted. I won't be needing the bench anymore and wanted to see if anyone else out there could use it. Cynthia had a Ford and it fits perfect in my Nissan... so I think it would work well in any midsize to large car. I'd be more than happy to give it to someone that could use it so if that's you just let me know. I live in the Monroe area but if you're anywhere close I'm sure we could work out getting it to you. |

Congrats, Mary! There's something about that little bench ... it'll get you by, but somehow you still end up getting an SUV.
The bench is now a two-owner, but is nice if you've got a sedan and and two greyhounds. Fits a Ford Taurus and a Nissan Maxima! _________________ Cynthia, huMom to Carly (Cw Your Charming), Princess (Lofty Princess), & Cruz, the galgo

Thanks everyone and hello from Oregon!
Good news... the bench has found a home with Rod, Peyton's dad. Yes, Cynthia it has served two greyhound owners well and I am happy it will go to a third . I bought a Nissan Murano SL. The dealership is going to deliver it to me Saturday evening. That's when I get home from this nice but way too long trip. Zoe and Chandler are with Aunt Karen and having way too much fun there. I have missed them terribly and can't wait to be able to hug on them again. Karen's been great to send pictures often and it has helped. I've had separation anxiety bad... thought about going to buy myself a kong to see if that would help. See you all soon! |

Hello in Oregon! Poor Mary! If I'd known you were having such terrible separation anxiety up there, I would have Fed Ex'd you some Rescue Remedy! Have a safe trip home and enjoy the new Nissan Hound Mobile! _________________ Cynthia, huMom to Carly (Cw Your Charming), Princess (Lofty Princess), & Cruz, the galgo
