Temporary location for fun run (from Peggy), April 26 at 12 noon. Its the Airport kennel on Redmond Dr. off Rutledge Road in Fletcher.

Rutledge Road is off route 280 north of the airport (and I-26) between Ashley furniture and The Sonic Drive In. The kennel is an attractive and clean facility offering us two fenced in fields. These fields are not real large compared to the ball parks at Fletcher Park, so we are going to have to limit the number of dogs. Water is supplied as are two wading pools.

The kennel requires proof of current vacinations for DHPP, rabies and bordetella. You may either have your vet fax these or bring them with you. The kennel's fax # is:(828)-681-9620. Also, upon your arrival you may put your dog in one of the fields and then go to the office to sign a one time contract that includes a liability waiver.

Parking is limited so we are asked to use the parking lot of the Budweiser warehouse which will be on your right as you reach Redmond Drive. Then walk with your dog(s) down the gravel lane which is Redmond Drive and put them in either #2 or #3 field and report to the office. The rent for the fields is $30.00 so we are asking for a $3.00 fee per dog. If this is not enough, we will take it out of the "kitty" that we've all been paying into.

We have reserved the fields for the following dates: 4/26, 5/10, 5/24, 6/7, 6/21. We will then return to Fletcher Park.
