Congratulations on adopting Peace! He is a good dog. Good luck deciding on his name - we had difficulties with that when we adopted Sahara.

I couldn't decide so I just kept the names that both my hounds already had ....

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I like both names Peace and Prosper.

The latest update on the naming situation is that my parents absolutely hate the name Prosper, which I adore, but since he'll be living in their home I've conceded :( The new front runner is Soda Pop. I kinda like it, though.

Yeah, it is kind of girly, isn't it? That may be why my dad is the one that doesn't like it lol, he's stuck in a house of girls. Now, we've moved onto Lancelot. Man, we just can't come to a decision!

I'm kinda partial to Peace myself-he is such a sweetheart, but then I've known him as Peace for 7 months.
Anyway, why don't you wait until you have him home a while-sometimes it's easier to come up with a fitting name once you know more about his personality, etc.

Yes, I think that's exactly what we'll end up doing, Blanche. Who knows, in the end we may stick with Peace. Dad's kinda of rushing me for a name, because he wants to buy a bed with his named stitched on it, ha. But I'd think I'd like to wait in till we can find a name that really fits him.
