I promised pictures didn't I ? I almost forgot.

We're here momma and nobody else is. Can we go home now?

If I lay here quietly maybe she won't notice me eating the grass.

Momma! Ginny's eating grass!

Is it time to go home yet? I'm late for my morning nap.

Hey Gang the rest of the hounds are here!

I can almost here Monty grumbling to Sheana about me making him walk. Laughing

We ended up shedding the coats before the parade. It warmed up to the mid 70s.

A Greyt time was had by all and as always the greys are a crowd favorite.

We always have fun at the parades. There was only on dark spot on the parade. The Marines were asked to do a Fly Bye and it is always cool to see the planes but the last Fly Bye they did was in my opinion dangerously low. It was so low that I watched mothers on the sidelines grasping kids that were screaming and crying in fear, at least half the hounds balked and tryed to escape, fortunately none did, If there had been any horses they probably would have tryed to throw riders and my friend Lee who is a Vietnam Vet was so scared he hit the dirt and had to be peeled up off of the pavement.

Yesterday however we received and apology from the parade planners and an assurance that the planes would be asked not to fly so low next year. They told us we were a valued participant in the parade each year and they did not want to lose us. I thought that was very nice of them.

We had some issues last year with the fire trucks right behind us with the dogs. It really stressed them out. They were so loud. This year they put us behind a hearse!!! It was very quiet Shocked

I can see where it would have been unnerving for the dogs and a lot of people and that's not good, You can call Me strange if You like but that kind of stuff gives Me a rush, always has.
