my two clumsy boys went bouncing out the back door last evening, and alex decided to turn around and stop and dash crashed over him. somewhere in the clumsy mess alex cut his foot. so we had to take a trip to the e-vet here in burlington. he got 4 stiches in his little foot to show for it. the big goofs. i would like to think next time they will be more careful but i doubt it. i wont ever need to have kids, i got two already.

Greyhounds and stitches are sort of a package deal, if You have one You're bound to have the other before long. Be careful Alex !!!!!

you got that right, my digger had his share when he was with me and just a bout two weeks ago my moms grey split his ear almost off. he had lots and lots of stiches, still not sure what happened to him but it was pretty bad, thats why we get along so well we spend our far share of time in the e-vet or e- room. my stiches are always the result of something very stupid, or as i like to say seemed like a good idea at the time.

Hope Alex is feeling better soon.
I know what you mean about them always needing sutures. Van Gogh can get cut just going outside.???? He broke his toe once and the vet put a splint on it. What a mess!! They said "keep it dry." Yea..right!
That's easy to say....how do you keep it dry when they have to go out in the morning and the grass is wet?
Are Alex and Dash still trying to go through the door at the same time? or have they figured....only one at a time will fit? Smile
