Well, i have been having a little power struggle with Angel and her crate. She goes in it, but tries to put on those greyhound brakes every time. So today, when i was leaving the house after lunch, i went and got the treats, and up the stairs she ran. I happily said "good girl Angel, go in your kennel" By the time i got in the bedroom (where her crateis) she was on the bed... she looked at the crate, then looked at me, then jumped off the bed and went straight into her crate!! yahoo yahoo
I'm sure the struggle will happen again, but we had a good first step today!!

Mem is the only one of my 5 that I still crate. I can just say, Kennel Up Mem, and she is off and running to the crate. She knows she is about to get her treat. She also likes her crate. I only put her in the crate if I am leaving the house, if I am home she is out of the crate and with me.

ever since our little victory with the crate, Angel just knows when i'm leaving the house (probably because she hears me getting treats) and runs upstairs and right into her crate! I think she likes it. Such a relief!!! I am so proud of my baby girl!!! Very Happy

Sherry and Sport always knew I was getting ready to go to work when I put Pepper (my Timneh African Grey) in her cage. They would both go down and get in the crates and lay down.
